The Pat Cash Tennis Academy at Buccament Bay Resort provides unique training and coaching programmes for both children and adults, developed from Pat's many years of learning during his playing career, his analytical approach and most recently the application of his knowledge in coaching on the professional tour. Pat will hold coaching clinics and play in exhibition matches at Buccament Bay Resort throughout the year.
The Soccer School provides training and coaching programmes for both adults and children aged 5 and above in an environment where everyone is given the opportunity to play football to the best of their ability, with encouragement and training to develop the skills necessary to enjoy the game at whatever level they wish to play. Coaching sessions are interactive, challenging and fun.
The programmes teach the fundamental techniques of the game and show players how to develop their ball skills, focussing on the tactical, physical, mental and social elements of the game. Whilst developing players as individuals, the coaching also encourages players to work as a team both in defensive and attacking situations including positional sense, communication, handling, footwork, distribution, crosses, organisational skills, kicking, agility and flexibility.

Sophie's Review of Buccament Bay
A health and fitness holiday can be a daunting prospect to some people, but it needn't be. You don't have to be a supermodel or a bronzed Adonis to enjoy a healthy holiday, and it most certainly won't be all work and no play. After a brief stopover in St Lucia, I boarded a short 30 minute flight to the small, relatively untouched island of St Vincent to experience the ever popular Buccament Bay. Until the international airport opens in St Vincent, St Lucia and Barbados are the two main gateways to this destination and are almost equidistant.
Buccament Bay: A Week in Paradise
Buccament Bay is becoming the most talked about place in the Caribbean, a luxury five star resort with outstanding facilities which I got to experience myself. The new resort on the little island of St Vincent has exceptional facilities for the active traveller; these include a Liverpool FC Soccer School, a Pat Cash Tennis Academy, a performing arts centre with classes led by West End professionals, fitness centre and a spa. Scenes from one of my favourite movies, Pirates of the Caribbean were shot nearby.
Guest Reviews of Buccament Bay
What can I say, it's been the perfect holiday.
The place is amazing! True, they are still building some parts of it, but that doesn't affect one's stay in any way. The only complaint I heard about from a guest was that one of the restaurants (safran) is still in a villa and so the "atmosphere" is not really good as in a proper restaurant, but everyone also said that the food was so nice that it didn't really matter.
Regarding the activities, the tennis was just perfect. James, the coach, is very well prepared and made an outline of all the topics we were going to cover during the week. Having lesson with him was just amazing (and even singing with him in the performing art academy after the tennis was quite impressive!). Unfortunately he fell ill one day but he found a replacement so I could have all my lessons anyway.
The performing art academy guys were amazing as well and with a lot of knowledge and fun facts to share! And that included news from backstage of the new Les Miserables movie where one of them was acting.
Overall the whole staff has been amazing and they all take good care of me since I was there alone!
The only "not perfect" bit is the connection of flights, but that is a very well-known issue I suppose, and it's way more painful on the way there (where the waiting is after the 8 hour flight) than on the way back. Anyway, once one arrives there it's very straightforward to find out that no matter the wait in barbados (never seen a more chaotic airport ever!), it's all worth it as the place and the people are simply amazing. Though, I've heard they want to set up their own airline and they should definitely do that quickly since they are doing such a great job and everything else is just perfect!
As you can see I'm still quite excited about how the holiday went and I just can't wait to go back there next year! I will let you know for sure when it's time to do the booking! :)
Thanks for all your help again.
