There are five onsite restaurants: the Terrace and the Restaurant are both open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; the Beach Club, serving lunch, dinner and drinks beachside; and the Lounge which serves snacks and drinks. November through April, Nama also serves Japanese for lunch and dinner. Many guests also take advantage of the option of private dining and eat in the sala of their pavilion or villa.
The Terrace is open all day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Choose from Thai and European cuisine in an al fresco setting overlooking the pool.
The Restaurant offers Italian dishes for dinner year round and lunch during the high season.

We left the hotel two weeks and can't stop talking about it. Amanpuri was the last stop of a weeks long trip in South East Asia and I cannot think of a better way to end it. Their level of service blew us off since we landed in Phuket. By mistake, I gave the hotel the wrong flight information and only realized when we where outside the terminal. I called the hotel and they immediately sent one of the 5, yes 5 people, they have at the airport at all times to find us and off we were in a brand new Mercedes to our dream hotel. From the moment you enter the property you are looked after by every single one of their hundreds of staff they have. At least 4 or 5 people are waiting to welcome you, including Paul, the GM. We reserved one of their garden pavilions which are spacious and comfortable. They have toto toilets and a beautiful bathtub and shower although a speaker would be a nice addition. One detail that amazed me was the pristine state of the woodwork in the suites and throughout the property. It looks like its revarnished after every check out. We live on the beach so ocean views are not essential for us but for other people I would totally recommend upgrading. Everything at this hotel is worth mentioning and praising but I think the food and beverage situation is fantastic. They have at least 4 different restaurants open for lunch and dinner, each with an extensive menu of delicious Thai, Italian, Japanese, Western and Latin options. Each meal we had was outstanding, being the Japanese and Thai my favorite restaurants. This is a place for those who appreciate the finer things in life. If you are a fan of packaged luxury this place is not for you.

Visiting Amanpuri has been a dream of mine for years and was so happy to finally visit this stunning resort in January with my brother and mother who were visiting me in Bangkok. What an amazing resort. There are no words! Everything is perfection - the setting, the food, the villas, the service.... THE SERVICE! Everyone was so nice and so helpful and I will always be thankful to the entire team who welcomed us and took care of us during our stay. The only down side to my visit is that I now want to visit every month and fear going broke! Thanks again to Paul and to everyone for being so nice and gracious to us and I do hope to be back again soon!
