Can you tell us about your journey into wellness coaching and international travel?

I have spent my entire career immersed in travel and wellness; studying, experiencing and continuously innovating. Drawn to the experiential side of life and motivated by a pursuit of deeper harmony, I’ve held traditional employee roles yet always conducted myself as a coach and independent consultant—forging my own path, nurturing my team’s growth and engagement, and fostering genuine connections with our guests. Transformational wellness travel provided the perfect context, but true elevation, expansion and profound insight only came fifteen years ago, when I met my Glowing Flow partner, Stefano Battaglia, whose holistic approach to life, healing and spirituality transformed everything for me.

While my official title has often been Director, I never fell into conventional employee management; instead, I forged my own leadership path, always uncompromising and independent. Beyond Preidlhof, I have been involved in some of the most interesting wellness concepts of the past decade — creating, directing, and innovating wellness initiatives alongside passionate teams that are recognised among the best in the world, bringing fresh, impactful ideas to life.

What does a typical day entail for you at Preidlhof?

I often begin my day sleeping under the stars in my suite’s private loggia awakened by birdsong, village bells and the Tramontana breeze filling my lungs beneath calm, clear skies. Breakfast on the terrace among apple orchards, olive trees and magnolias follows, before setting off on a bike tour or a mountain walk. Mid-morning, I surrender to ‘spa life’ and join holistic classes — laughter yoga, flow-rope, face-gym and mindful eating — then consult our complementary-medicine doctor and review guests’ heart-rate variability. A buffet lunch leads into an afternoon of spa treatments or an activity with one of our retreat masters, and the day ends with a light, plant-based dinner and a peaceful evening under the stars.

Many of our suites feature loggias with daybeds that transform into full beds dressed in the same linen as our indoor beds – enabling guests to slumber beneath the stars and fully immerse in nature.

You are the creative force behind ‘The Preidlhof Way’. What inspired this concept and how do you implement it into your own everyday life?

The enchanting South Tyrolean landscape, the consistent yet natural rhythm of life here, the many contradictions—the dance between introvert and extrovert, hermit solitude and social pulse—the fresh, green slopes of Trapp Mountain ahead and the sun-baked plateau behind: dry, intense, recharging. At Glowing Flow we designed our concept and spa retreats with pioneering holistic-health work, hands-on guest immersion and our healing approach, while enhancing the human resources already here and recruiting new talent for this gorgeous wellness offering. It all reflects my life and my 24/7 purpose of creating independent, responsible, happy and evolved teams. The Spa Team we built at Preidlhof is, for me, an “explosion of love”—and always a pleasure to return to.

On joining Preidlhof in 2019 you introduced sensorial wellness programmes and transformational wellness retreats. What are the most popular or unique programmes you offer to clients?

Our Glowing Flow Trauma-Healing Retreat truly stands apart—a world apart thanks to the level of commitment and vision of the Retreat leader, Stefano Battaglia. It delivers profound impact and a deep sense of elevation, lifting mind, body and spirit into a higher state of clarity, purpose and empowerment. It is a once-or-twice-in-a-lifetime experience for deep transformation or healing. We then offer a series of supportive retreats to sustain and harmonise those results over the years. Our Integrated Wellness signature programme is led by therapists expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine, shiatsu and complementary medicine, where physical and emotional rebalancing and natural rejuvenation exceed all expectations.

What is one piece of wellness advice you live by?

Start with yourself — do the inner work if you seek change, love, sustainability, healing, fulfilling relationships and harmony.
Be as natural as possible. Be yourself.

Through your Glowing Flow Masterclass and Academy, how do you ensure other wellness professionals benefit from your knowledge and expertise?

I aim to inspire the sensitive, the creative and the outsiders, those who have always struggled within the superficial, often harsh world of hospitality management - and remind them that deep inner work, solid expertise and sustainable practices are essential to stand out and avoid the 'wellness circus': the parade of fleeting fads, Instagram-ready gimmicks and quick fixes that prioritise spectacle over genuine transformation.

In my Glowing Flow Masterclass and Academy, I integrate rigorous inner-life practices —breathwork, movement and ritual—with professional hospitality know-how and practical mentoring, all grounded in sustainability. I believe wellness is a privilege that demands practising what you preach, cultivating lasting harmony, calm and joy in your spas and hotels rather than just providing guests with superficial experiences. Through immersive training, ongoing guidance and a supportive community, I ensure every wellness professional leaves ready to embody flow, enhancing both their personal journey and the wellbeing of those they serve.

What inspires you when it comes to curating new fitness and beauty concepts?

I am a great inner life experimenter, and I believe that everyone must discover their own unique path to living in flow. That embodied state where mind, body, and spirit align, allowing your authentic and creative self to emerge and leaving you fully present and whole. Through my Glowing Flow approach—and by drawing on every resource at my disposal, from breath-work and movement practices to mindful beauty rituals and nurturing community networks—I design diverse pathways that resonate universally yet speak personally to each one of us.

Lastly, what are your aims for Preidlhof’s development for the future?

I am designing the new spa area; the heart and most important part of the resort—and it will be organised around our transformational wellness retreats and ‘The Preidlhof Way’, our holistic wellness philosophy that harmonises hedonic and eudaemonic wellbeing. We are very excited to bring this vision to life and upgrade this pivotal part of the resort.
